Talley Valley Trek

The Talley Valley trek offers a peaceful pristine environment and vegetation and primeval mountain wilderness. Indulge yourself in an experience of the valley covered with flowers and be amazed by the virgin forest that welcomes you with a range of vibrant flora and fauna. Situated at a distance of 32km, it is not far away from Ziro town.

Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary

Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Arunachal Pradesh, India.
Arunachal Pradesh is home to 40% of India's floral and faunal species. The Ziro valley boasts of a very good share of this biodiversity. 

In between the Sipu, Pange & Subansiri rivers and surrounded by tick densely forested mountains ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 meters. altitude lies the Talley Valley. The Sanctuary is very rich in wildlife. Many species of bamboos grow here. The valley is home to the rare, mysterious and elegant clouded leopard. All the four-cat families are present here in the Valley. 

The grand scenario of the unspoiled and ancient mountain wilderness is really unique in this Protected Area. The animals that inhabit this valley are Flying squirrel, Giant squirrel,  Himalayan black bear, Indian porcupine, Jungle cat, Leopard, Leopard cat, Clouded leopard, and Palm civet, Wild boar, Slow loris, Wild dog, and many other...

Arrive Guwahati Drive to Tezpur (180 -Kms/3 - 4 Hrs)
Tezpur

Welcome to Guwahati, the largest city of Assam situated on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River. On arrival in Guwahati, you will be welcomed by our representative and we will start our drive to Tezpur.

Dirve Tezpur To Ziro (285 -Kms/8-9 Hrs)
Ziro Valley

After early morning breakfast, we will start our ride to our next destination. Ziro is a town located in the Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is famed for its lush green paddy fields. It was recently in the news being featured and shortlisted for getting celebrated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ziro Valley

Explore Ziro, the land of the Apatani tribes. Experience the landscape of the rice fields, bamboo groves, and spend time with the locals to know more about their culture and tradition.

Trek to Mani Poyang (10 Kms / 4 -5 Hrs )
Pangey Valley

The trek starts after a short drive to the starting point near the Talle valley forest sanctuary with the Pange river flowing beside you. The 10 km flat trail mostly passes through tropical rain forests with bamboo trees.

Trek to Talley Valley (11 Kms / 7-8 Hrs)
Talley Valley

Today we enter the heart of the Talley Valley. From here, after a steep climb for about 4 hours we will finally descend through the bamboo forest to reach the campsite.

Trek to Pangey (11 Kms / 7-8 Hrs)
Pangey Valley

This is an easy day of trekking. After breakfast, we trek back towards Pangey Valley. Along the way, we come across a Tragopan point and then continue our journey through an assortment of colorful wildflowers and lichens to reach Pangey Valley.

Dinner and night stay at the camp.

Pangey Ziro (10 Kms / 6-7 Hrs)
Ziro Valley

This is the final day of Talley Valley trek. After breakfast, start for Ziro. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Dirve to Tezpur (285 -Kms/8-9 Hrs)
Tezpur

After early morning breakfast drive Back to Tezpur. The small town is endowed with scenic beauty. On arrival, check into your hotel.

Drive from Tezpur to Guwahati (180 -Kms/3 - 4 Hrs)
Guwahati

You will be transferred to Guwahati Airport / Railway.

Cancellation Policy

The package price will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without receiving a cancellation request effective from the date of receipt of the letter. 

  • Notice less than 60-46 days:  25% cost will be deducted
  • Notice less than 45-31 days:  50% cost will be deducted
  • Notice less than  30 days:    No Refund

Note: No refund will be given to people who are unable to complete the trip or abandon it due to any reasons.

  • The digital copy of the Indemnity form duly filled, signed and emailed to the company along with the booking amount. 
  • It will be deemed that the booking & payment policy is accepted by the clients while making the bookings with the first deposit amount. 
  • If the client is forced to cancel the booking prior to departure, the cancellation policy will be followed.
  • In case of any delay beyond our control, the client will have to bear extra cost for the extra days as per the option chosen on per day basis.
  • Please  note  and  be  well  informed  that  there  will  be  no  refund  of  money  after the package commences and if one cannot complete activity or gets sick enroute. 
  • The cost is for the entire package and there would be no refunds in case any part of the package is not availed.

We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to conflict, international or internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures and disputes.
  2. The  booking  is  accepted  on  the  understanding  that  you  realize  the  potential  risks  and hazards that can be involved in holidays of this kind. The organisor along with our leaders/guides and anyone else working in association with us cannot be held responsible for any death, accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the holiday.

Before the guests come on a holiday, they must be covered by insurance, which has to include the cost of helicopter rescue, evacuation and cost of repatriation if they become too ill to continue. It is recommended that the travel insurance should cover adventure activities undertaken. We can help you incase required
