Arctic Circle of Norway

Arctic Norway includes the northern part of Norway, which is located above the Arctic Circle. In Norway, the name Northern Norway is used for the northernmost part of Norway. While Arctic Norway is often understood as Svalbard.

Arctic Norway includes four geographically distinct parts, which include
Mainland Norway, from 66?33' to 71?11'N;
Svalbard, located from 76?28 to 80?49' North;

The Arctic Circle crosses mainland Norway at Saltfjellet. Mainland Norway above the Arctic Circle has a total area of approximately 37,153 square miles, with a population of approximately 393,000, making the region the most populous Arctic region in the world.

Located about 640 kilometers north of Norway is the Svalbard Islands, whose area is 61,000 km2. And its population is about 2400, and Svalbard also includes the world's northernmost city, Longyearbyen.

Bear Island is located about 400 kilometers north of Norway, which is two-thirds the distance from Svalbard. The area of Bear Island is 178 km2, its population is 6, which is the staff of the weather station here.

Jan Mayen is located about 880 km northwest of mainland Norway and about 450 km from the coast of Greenland, the area here is 373 km2. The total population here is 18, who are employees of the Meteorological Department here.


Arctic Circle of Finland

Finland and the Arctic region : About a third of Finland lies above the Arctic Circle in the province of Lapland. Lapland's size is very large, due to which it is a very sparsely populated region, Lapland has a population of less than 180,000, while the total population of Finland is more than 5,500,000. 

Finland has made a major contribution to Arctic development, contributing expertise and modern technology to industries such as Arctic environmental technology and the development of Arctic infrastructure, transportation, and navigation in ice-covered waters. 

There are many biological research centers in Lapland, where Arctic ecology studies are conducted. Along with natural beauty, Finland is also home to many Arctic animals, which include Reindeer, Arctic fox, Wolf, Moose, Aurochs, Snowy owl, Stoat, Ringed seal, etc. Apart from this, Santa Claus village is the main attraction in Rovaniemi, apart from this there are also many national parks present here.

  • The digital copy of the Indemnity form is duly filled, signed, and emailed to the company along with the booking amount. 
  • It will be deemed that the booking & payment policy is accepted by the clients while making bookings with the first deposit amount. 
  • If the client is forced to cancel the booking prior to departure, the cancellation policy will be followed.
  • In case of any delay beyond our control, the client will have to bear extra costs for the extra days as per the option is chosen on per day basis.
