1

Arrival in Hobart
Hobart

Arrive at the Hobart airport and pick up your rental car to transfer to your hotel for the night. Orient yourself with the most popular Australian city on this island.

2

Huon (3 hours, 132 km)
Huon Valley

Travel south towards Huon through Geeveston, a small township set in the lower reaches of the Huon Valley. Huon Valley has perhaps the most amazing natural beauty in all of Tasmania. Drive further to arrive at Hartz Mountain National Park to enjoy a surround of majestic splendor. Walk along the Tahune Airwalk to view forest canopies and flowing streams of the Huon and Picton Rivers. There are plenty of hiking opportunities in the park. Stop at Willie Smiths Apple Shed to taste some cider before returning back to Huon for the night.

Russell Falls / Lake St Clair (4 hours, 275 km)
Lake Saint Clair

Traverse back through Hobart and visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. View some of Australia’s most exclusive wildlife at this conservation center including the Tassie Devil. Drive to Mt Field National Park and see its major attraction, the Russell Falls. Tasmania’s most diverse national park houses some of the tallest fern trees and many other waterfalls such as Lady Barron Falls, Horseshoe Falls. Have a chance to hike to the summit of Mt Field itself. Arrive at Lake St. Clair to stay the night. This region also offers a variety of hikes from 45 minute leisure strolls to terraneous hikes. It is also the end of Australia’s famed Overland Track.

Queenstown / Strahan (2 hours, 132 km)
Strahan

Travel to the west coast today, to Queenstown. The West Coast Wilderness Railway is a beautifully restored scenic steam train that runs amongst the old growth rainforest, over valleys and streams and up steep racks and pinion lines. Continue to the harbour city of Strahan, set on the shore of Macquarie Harbour. It serves as a gateway to Franklin – Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. A short one hour return hike to Hogarth Falls is recommended.

River Cruise / Corinna (1.5 hours, 95 km)
Corinna

Option 1: Leave early in the morning, crossing the town of Zeehan to board a Pieman River Cruise departing at 10am from Corinna. The cruise takes you along the Pieman River, showcasing the endowed beauty.

Option 2: Board one of the most sought after eco cruises from Strahan along the Gordon River. It includes a guided Sarah Island stop-over, a buffet lunch and much more. Enjoy short hikes through the Myrtle Beech rainforest in the Tarkine Reserve.

Cradle Mountain National Park (2.5 hours, 123 km)
Cradle Mountain National Park

Travel north and pass by Savage River and Waratah to arrive at Cradle Mountain National Park. Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park, with its prehistoric rainforests and alpine moors, is home to the world-famous Overland Track and iconic Cradle Mountain. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park is one of the state’s most remarkable locations, where ancient pines, glacial lakes and icy streams cascade down rugged mountains. Enjoy a hike along The Dove Lake Circuit which goes on for about 6km.

Scottsdale (3.5 hours, 264 km)
Scottsdale

Drive through Tasmania’s second largest and Australia’s oldest city, Launceston. It boasts massive Colonial and Victorian architecture along with the Cataract Gorge. With the Tamar River alongside, drive up to the Tamar Valley and cross the lavender scented farms to arrive at Scottsdale for the night.

Bay of Fires / Bicheno (3.5 hours, 183 km)
Bicheno

Enjoy a coastal drive of picturesque landscaping today. The world famous Bay of Fires, which is a slice of coastal heaven and stretches over 50 kilometres from Eddystone Point in the north to Binalong Bay in the south. Walk for miles along sugar-white sandy beaches, discover orange lichen-covered granite boulders and swim in the crystal clear turquoise water. Follow the coast south to Bicheno where penguin tours let you get up close to little fairy penguins at dusk. Enjoy scenic walks to Rocking Rock, the Blowhole and along the sandbar to Diamond Island Nature Reserve.

Freycinet National Park / Port Arthur (4 hours, 275 km)
Port Arthur

Take a detour from the main highway and visit the Freycinet National Park, filled with an abundance of natural assets, including the pink granite peaks of the Hazards Range that dominate the Peninsula. Visit Friendlies Beach and take in the short hike to see the magnificent views of the iconic Wineglass Bay. Drive south to Port Arthur on the Tasman peninsula. The Port Arthur Historic Site is revered for its colonial history and architecture. Have a chance to embark on a Ghost Tour in the night.

Hobart / Departure for Airport (1 hour, 83 km)
Hobart

A short drive from Port Arthur, arrive back at Hobart and drop off your rental car. Depart for the airport for your flight back home as the amazing experience of Tasmania culminates.

  1. The digital copy of the Indemnity form duly filled, signed and emailed to the company along with the booking amount. 
  2. It will be deemed that the booking & payment policy is accepted by the clients while making the bookings with the first deposit amount. 
  3. If the client is forced to cancel the booking prior to departure, the cancellation policy will be followed.
  4. In case of any delay beyond our control, the client will have to bear extra cost for the extra days as per the option chosen on a per day basis.
  5. Please  note  and  be  well  informed  that  there  will  be  no  refund  of  money  after the package commences and if one cannot complete activity or gets sick enroute. 
  6. The cost is for the entire package and there would be no refunds in case any part of the package is not availed
  7. It is in the nature of a holiday of this kind to be flexible. The day-to-day agenda and ultimate goal of the tour is taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to conflict, international or internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures and disputes.
  8. The  booking  is  accepted  on  the  understanding  that  you  realize  the  potential  risks  and hazards that can be involved in holidays of this kind. The organiser along with our leaders/guides and anyone else working in association with us cannot be held responsible for any death, accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the holiday. 
  9. Before the guests come on a holiday, they must be covered by insurance, which has to include the cost of helicopter rescue, evacuation and cost of repatriation if they become too ill to continue. It is recommended that the travel insurance should cover adventure activities undertaken. We can help you incase required
  10. The Company would not be liable to pay any kind of compensation arising because of any mishap, sickness, accident etc.
