About Satpura National Park 

Satpura National Park is a kingdom of wildlife. Satpura is a Sanskrit word, which means seven mountains. This national park is located in the Hoshangabad district under the state of Madhya Pradesh, India, which is spread over an area of ​​524 sq km. It presents natural beauty in a spectacular way and offers tourists a wonderful opportunity to explore the lush green forests.

The forests of Satpura National Park provide tourists with the ability to attract every wildlife lover, serene environment, magnificent landscape, flora, and fauna. Along with this, you also get to do some interesting activities here, jeep safari and elephant safari with the help of which you can explore the forest, it can be a great experience in your life.

The animals found here include tiger, leopard, elephant, four-horned antelope, blackbuck, sloth bear, wild boar, wild dog, porcupine, sambar, chital, sheep, nilgai, crocodile, Malabar squirrel, langur, etc. Apart from the animals, there are also a large number of birds here, among which Dhanesh and Peacock are prominent. Best Time to Visit Satpura National Park

If you are planning to visit Satpura National Park, then you need to know about its best months, as this tiger reserve is closed to all tourists during the monsoon season. October to March is the best time to visit Satpura National Park.

October to March - The park opens after the monsoon, and the clear weather provides a spectacular landscape. This month is the best one to visit the park. If we look at the season according to its season, then a large number of tourists visit this park from October to December and February to March. The second best season to experience the rich flavors of the magnificent city is during the monsoon months of July-September. With the arrival of monsoons in Madhya Pradesh, it changes into a lush paradise which is relatively lesser-known. Monsoons paint this wild state lush green with streams and brooks gushing out from every nook and corner. The weather becomes wet and a bit humid sometimes but it is a very pleasant experience throughout.

Itinerary

Day

1

Arrival at Bhopal | Bhimbetka Rock Shelters Hike | Transfer to Satpura N Park
Satpura National Park

After arriving at Bhopal Airport, meet with our representative and we will take you to the Madhai range of Satpura. The drive takes approximately (4 hours /145 km)
Enroute we visit the Bhimbetka rock shelters which are primarily famous for housing a number of prehistoric rock paintings being an archaeological site that spans the prehistoric Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods. It exhibits the earliest traces of human life on the Indian subcontinent and evidence of Stone Age starting at the site in Acheulian times. Thus far there have been found some 760 caves on seven hills and more than 500 of these caves contain paintings and other artwork. The largest number of caves is on Bhimbetka Hill – 243 caves and Lakha Juar – 178 caves. In a wider area around Bhimbetka there are more than 1,700 rock shelters
Check in at the hotel. In the evening, we will go for a wilderness hike for a couple of hours. We return back to the lodge for a welcome dinner. Overnight accommodation

Canoe Safari Experience | Hiking to Ruined Fort
Satpura National Park

The day will begin early as the group enjoys being amidst the wilderness of Satpura Tiger Reserve. On the itinerary today is a morning Canoe Safari Experience at the Tawa Reservoir that will take them through the tiger reserve to reach Tawa Dam. Watch wildlife from the uniqueness of sitting in the canoe.
After this scintillating experience, the group will move further for a short hike to the ruined fort of Hoshang Shah at Bagra Tawa. Much of the fort has been reclaimed by Mother Nature and one can see tree roots growing out from the walls of the structure. The group will also visit the Colonial Era Bridge and Railway Tunnel nearby. In the evening, the group will return to the Hotel. We return back to the lodge for a welcome dinner. Overnight accommodation

Jeep Safari Game Drive | Camping Overnight Trek
Satpura National Park

In the early morning, we go for a Jeep Safari in the Satpura National Park for the wildlife experience, exploring the wilderness in the woods. Afterwards, return to the lodge for lunch. Post lunch we head for a wilderness camping trek in the forests of Satpura. The trek will take them to a beautiful landscape where they can witness the true beauty of the biosphere reserve with the impregnable green wilderness of the valley. We camp overnight in the forest and witness a spectacular sunset. Overnight at the campsite

Cycling | Departure
Satpura National Park

Early morning we embark on a short cycling experience in the forest moving back in the direction of the hotel. Post freshen up, checkout and get a direct transfer to the airport to catch the flight for onward destination.

Cancellation Policy
The package price will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without receiving a cancellation request effective from the date of receipt of the letter. 

Notice less than 60-46 days:  25% cost will be deducted
Notice less than 45-31 days:  50% cost will be deducted
Notice less than  30 days:    No Refund

Note: No refund will be given to people who are unable to complete the trip or abandon it due to any reasons.

  1. The digital copy of the Indemnity form duly filled, signed and emailed to the company along with the booking amount. 
  2. It will be deemed that the booking & payment policy is accepted by the clients while making the bookings with the first deposit amount. 
  3. If the client is forced to cancel the booking prior to departure, the cancellation policy will be followed.
  4. In case of any delay beyond our control, the client will have to bear extra cost for the extra days as per the option chosen on a per day basis.
  5. Please  note  and  be  well  informed  that  there  will  be  no  refund  of  money  after the package commences and if one cannot complete activity or gets sick enroute. 
  6. The cost is for the entire package and there would be no refunds in case any part of the package is not availed
  7. It is in the nature of a holiday of this kind to be flexible. The day-to-day agenda and ultimate goal of the tour is taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to conflict, international or internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures and disputes.

The organiser along with our leaders/guides and anyone else working in association with us cannot be held responsible for any death, accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the holiday.

Before the guests come on a holiday, they must be covered by insurance, which has to include the cost of helicopter rescue, evacuation and cost of repatriation if they become too ill to continue. It is recommended that the travel insurance should cover adventure activities undertaken. We can help you incase required
