Pushkar Fair Tour Package

Pushkar is located at a distance of about 11 km from Ajmer in the state of Rajasthan and is very popular for its camel cattle fair. This fair is held here on every Kartik Purnima, where a large number of tourists come from abroad. There is also a holy lake here, in which devotees take baths to purify themselves. This lake is surrounded by temples and ghats from all sides and the largest temple in Pushkar is dedicated to Lord Brahma. 

The animals walking on the gleaming ridge dunes of Pushkar and their owners sitting on camel backs represent an astonishing culture. Various types of activities are organized at Pushkar Fair to entertain the world. Also, a huge carnival of acrobats, snake charmers, musicians, and dancers is held. Founded in 1599 by Maharana Udai Singh, the house of Mewar, or Udaipur as it is now better known is surrounded by the Aravalli mountain ranges. The ambiance, climate, and history have combined together to make Udaipur a tourist haven.

Best Time to Visit Pushkar Fair

Days are generally hot in Pushkar, as the weather here is dry. However, the nights are a bit cooler than the days. Being a desert area, it rains intermittently here. Avoid coming in the summer season, as the days are scorching hot. 

Pushkar in Winter (November - February)

Winter is the peak season in Pushkar. In this season "Pushkar Mela" is also organized in this holy city. There is a huge crowd of tourists in this season. This is the season when Pushkar gets relief from the summer months from October to March. The temperature in this season ranges from 8 to 22 degrees celcius. 

In the month of November, the Pushkar Festival is organized, which is a famous camel fair, during which there are a lot of crowds here. There are not only camels in the fair, apart from this, but different types of shows are also organized. Traders come from far and wide to the fair, in which there are goods like clothes, spices, handicrafts, etc.

Pushkar Summer (March - June)

The summer season in Pushkar lasts from the months of March to June. This month is the least good for traveling. These days the day temperature remains around 45 degree Celsius. On the other hand, there is a lot of water scarcity in this season. But the nights are a bit cold in this season. But if you want to take a budget trip to Pushkar, then this season is ideal for you, as hotel prices also drop during this season.

Pushkar in Monsoon (July-September)

The monsoon season in Pushkar extends between the months of July to September. Monsoon is also like summer. It rains intermittently during this season. This is also not an ideal time to visit Pushkar. Monsoon season is also off-season, and it is better for budget travelers.

Arrive Udaipur / Half Day City Experience

UDAIPUR: - The city of Dawn, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure water lakes, hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravallis. A vision in white drenched in romance and beauty, Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experiences - an inspiration for the imagination of the poets, painters and writers. Its kaleidoscope of fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls, carry the flavour of heroic past, epitomising valour and chivalry. Their reflection in the placid waters of Lake Pichola is an enticing sight.

Arrive Udaipur and transfer from the airport to the hotel for check in post 2 p.m.
Post check in, visit the famous City Palace complex - The City Palace is a masterpiece, the construction of which was started by Maharana Udai Singh II. This Palace Udaipur is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, which is the largest palace complex of Rajasthan. It is a combination of Rajasthani, Mughal, Medieval, European and Eastern architecture. The palace museum displays the 25 kg formidable armor of Maharana Udai Singh, and displays the range of artillery. The palace consists of sections such as Rai Aangan (Royal Courtyard), Krishna Vilas, Badi Mahal, Mor Chowk, Sheesh Mahal (a magnificent collection of mirror-filled spaces), Zenana Mahal (Ladies Chamber) and its central courtyard ? Laxmi Chowk. Descendants of the royal family show a taste of royal life through its commercial properties such as the Fateh Prakash Palace and the Shiv Niwas Palace (within the City Palace Complex) overlooking the famous Lake Palace Hotel, to keep their rich heritage alive.

In the evening enjoy the Mewar Evening Light and Sound Show - The show was created to spread awareness and interest in the 1500 years old history of Mewar. Known as "The Legacy of Honour", the 1-hour hi-tech show in English begins at 07:00 PM at the spectacular Manek Chowk in the City Palace complex. It is the deep, middle voice of Udaipurs Arvind Singh Mewar (the current custodian of Mewars house) who welcomes the guests at the start of the show and sets the mood of the evening. The 12 episodes in the show revisit the devotion of the dynastys founding father Bapa Rawal, the glory of Rani Padmini and Chittorgarh and the sacrifice of Panna Dhai before presenting the establishment of Udaipur in the 16th century.
A great recommendation for dinner could be (at an additional cost) ? Amber Restaurant at Amet Mansion, by the lake, is the perfect choice for a meal. The place is completely natural themed, with the blue and white furniture reflecting the sky and water theme. Also there is an own kitchen garden where they grow Mexican tomatillos, bell peppers and other vegetables and on the other side there is a unique barbecue unit which adds to the sense of place.

Start the day early with the Udaipur Heritage Walk - with a local learned guide, who takes you through the traditions and culture of the local people of Udaipur. During this journey you meet beautiful roads, sites, hidden alleys, various artisans, jewellers, potters and bamboo craftsmen.
Come back to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, visit Shilpgram - This is a rural arts and crafts complex, located 3 km west of Udaipur city in the state of Rajasthan, India. The complex is surrounded by Aravalli hills on all sides, which is spread over an undulating terrain of about 70 acres of land. Shilpgram is an ethnographic museum, showcasing the lifestyle of the folk and tribal people of the area. Shilpgram provides an opportunity to all rural and urban artists and craftsmen to interact together through the process of its camps and workshops, to promote crafts and rural arts.
Later in the evening visit the Bagore Ki Haveli Museum - celebrate the legacy of a cultural show in Rajasthan in the evening with this immersive experience. Watch folk dances invented by the local people, admire their dance performances and colorful costumes. Get to know the local lifestyle closely.

After a delicious breakfast in the morning, visit the Pushkar fair and catch a glimpse of the camel trade, an ancient practice of cattle trade dating back centuries, aimed at earning a living, and that brings together different communities. In this fair, hundreds of camels and cattle herders gather near Pushkar Lake to trade their animals. People get to see many fascinating and thrilling experiences in the Pushkar Fair. All the best artists of India come to the Pushkar Fair, apart from this many rural artisans and communities have also gathered, which is the center of Rajasthani culture. Notice less than 60-46 days:  25% cost will be deducted
Notice less than 45-31 days:  50% cost will be deducted
Notice less than  30 days:    No Refund
