Pakhwa Bugyal, also known as Pakhwa Top Trek, is known to many. Pakhwa Top is located on the ridge between the Saryu and Pindar valleys in the Kumaon Himalayas. Owing to the vast grasslands, this trek is popularly known as 'the trek through the largest alpine meadows of the Himalayas'. The area is gorgeous and scenic, and the trail passes through dense forests and rich green meadows.
 
The trek starts from village Dhur, the trail passes through dense forests and rich green meadows. The trail ends at Pindar Valley after crossing the high ranges between the two valleys. Pindari Valley is popular because of the famous Pindari Glacier trek.

How to Reach Pakhwa Top Bageshwar

Pakhwa Bugyal or Pakhwa Top Kumaon Himalaya is located near Bageshwar district. The trek starts from Tarsali village, which takes around 4 to 6 days to complete. The trail of this trek passes through many spectacular sceneries, including many secluded settlements,

apart from bugyals, waterfalls, flowers, plants and you will be seen on the trekking route. But to reach the Pakhwa Top Trek, you have three options to reach Pakhwa Bugyal Trek, which includes air travel, rail travel, and road.

By Air: The nearest airport from Bageshwar is Pantnagar, which is about 188 km away. You can book a taxi or cab from here.

By Train: The nearest railway station to reach Pakhwa Top by rail is Kathgodam, which is about 154 kilometers from Bageshwar, from here you can book a shared car or hire a taxi to reach Bageshwar.

By Road: Uttarakhand roadways bus is available to reach Bageshwar by road, you can take the bus from all neighboring cities to Bageshwar, apart from this you can also come to Bageshwar by your own car, and from here fortnight top trek. can be taken.

After arriving in Kathgodam Railway Stations take a cab and drive for Dhoor approx 220 Kms from Kathgodam. It may take you around 6-7 hours to reach Dhoor. Reach on Dhoor, check into homestay, after that you can relax or explore the beautiful and Spectacular views.

Trek to Dhakuri (2680 Mt) (6 Kms approx 4 Hrs)
Dhakuri

Your trekking journey will start from today, so get up early in the morning and get ready to trek after breakfast. The trek will run from Dhur to Dhakuri, a 6 km trek through dense forests. Where the melodious sounds of birds mesmerise you. After reaching Dhakuri, check your accommodation and enjoy the beautiful view of the valley in the evening.

Trek to Bajrangdhar (3200 mt.) (10 Kms approx 6 Hrs)

After breakfast in the morning, proceed to trek with a beautiful sunrise to reach your next destination. This 10 km trek involves a climb from Dhakuri to Bajrangdhar with a climb to 3200 metres, which might take about 6-7 hours to complete. The trek passes through dense forests on top of the zig-zag hills.

Trek to Pakhwa Top (3500 mt.) to Jhuni Village (12Kms/ 6hrs)

Wake up early in the morning and start your trek with sunrise. After breakfast you will trek from Bajrangdhar to Pakhwa Top. The beautiful meadows, rare valleys, and snow-capped mountains swayed by the wind at an altitude of 3500 metres provide exciting views. The cool breeze here will mesmerise you by touching your face. After exploring Pakhwa Top thoroughly. We descend down in the Saryu valley to village Jhuni

Trek to Patiyasar Village ( 8 Kms / approx 4 Hrs)/ Departure
Patiyasar Village

Today is your last day of trekking. After breakfast in the morning you will Start descending to Patiyasar Village, located approx 8 Kms from Jhuni. Reach Patiyasar Village and there will be a good time to drive down till Almora the same day. End of our services.

The package price will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without receiving a cancellation request effective from the date of receipt of the letter. 

  • Notice less than 60-46 days:  25% cost will be deducted
  • Notice less than 45-31 days:  50% cost will be deducted
  • Notice less than  30 days:    No Refund

Note: No refund will be given to people who are unable to complete the trip or abandon it due to any reasons.

  • The digital copy of the Indemnity form duly filled, signed and emailed to the company along with the booking amount. 
  • It will be deemed that the booking & payment policy is accepted by the clients while making the bookings with the first deposit amount. 
  • If the client is forced to cancel the booking prior to departure, the cancellation policy will be followed.
  • In case of any delay beyond our control, the client will have to bear extra cost for the extra days as per the option chosen on per day basis.

The organisor along with our leaders/guides and anyone else working in association with us cannot be held responsible for any death, accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the holiday.

Before the guests come on a holiday, they must be covered by insurance, which has to include the cost of helicopter rescue, evacuation and cost of repatriation if they become too ill to continue. It is recommended that the travel insurance should cover adventure activities undertaken. We can help you incase required
