After breakfast, start your Sham Valley Tour with a drive towards Sangam to see the confluence of Zanskar and Indus River. rnOn the way, stop to visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh on the Leh-Kargil road. After seeking blessings, do enjoy a hot cup of tea at the gurdwara.rnAt Sangam, after getting the iconic snapshot of two different-coloured rivers merging, you may choose to proceed further downhill towards the banks. Here you will find a café where you could enjoy some snacks (on direct payment) and use the restroom. On your way back to Leh, stop at Magnetic Hill to experience the phenomenon of the mountains pulling vehicles downhill. Up next, head to the Hall of Fame, constructed by the Indian Army. Here, you will find memorabilia, eminent defence personalities’ biographies, images and weapons used during the Kargil war and belongings of enemy soldiers found at the war site. rnWhen in Leh, spend the rest of the day at leisure. If you have some time at disposal then do explore the nearby food joints to relish local food such as thukpa, a thick broth with vegetables or meat (at your own expense). Do not miss to taste some mouth-watering momos and steamed dumplings stuffed with vegetables or meat (at your own expense). As the day comes to an end, have dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at your hotel.

Post breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, which is counted amongst the world’s highest motorable roads. Experience a beautiful drive on a road located at an altitude of 18,380 feet amidst breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. You can also enjoy a cup of hot black tea at the Army cafeteria here (at your own expense). Once you reach the Nubra ATV point, enjoy your complimentary ATV joyride followed by lunch. rnAmidst the Karakoram Range and Ladakh ranges of Himalaya, Nubra is a high altitude cold desert with scenic surroundings. When in Nubra, check-in at the camp and then proceed for an excursion to the famous Hunder sand desert, an endless stretch of dunes that is also home to the rare double-humped Bactrian camels. While here, you also have the opportunity to enjoy a ride on a Bactrian camel (at your own expense). Conclude your day by enjoying around a crackling bonfire with refreshments. Under the canopy of stars, enjoy your dinner and retire to the comfortable tent

After early breakfast, check-out from the camp and embark on a drive to Pangong Lake (Pangong Tso) on the Indo China border, via the Shyok River Route. Located at an altitude of 14,200 feet, Pangong Lake stretches from India to China. A refreshing phenomenon and a sheer treat for the eyes, the lake is a beautiful contrast of deep blue water against the strong hues of brown land. Before you reach Pangong Lake, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. By afternoon, reach your camp in Pangong Lake. Take a stroll around the lake and click beautiful pictures of the barrenness all around. If possible, do watch the beautiful sunset. Enjoy your dinner in the camp. Forget all the stress and chaos and witness the silent, black sky, punctuated only by starlight. Drift to sleep for a relaxing overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of nature

Wake up to a beautiful view of sunrise over the Pangong Lake. Relax and indulge in a delicious breakfast. Check-out from the camp and make your way to Leh, which is about 225 kilometers from the lake. When in Leh, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You could make the most of the free time by visiting a local market in Leh. From here, you could bag a variety of thangkas as well as other items such as jewellery, semi-precious stones, dry fruits, traditional Ladakhi dresses, pashmina shawls, etc. (at your own expense). As the day comes to an end, enjoy your dinner and retire to the comfortable hotel room.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast and head out to explore the famous monasteries in Leh. Drive to the famous Hemis Monastery, a 17th-century monastery known for its golden statues and stupas adorned with precious stones. When here, do visit the museum featuring a huge collection of Buddhist relics and several ancient items like paintings, weapons, etc. Thereafter, head to the Thiksey Monastery, located at an altitude of 10,800 feet. The monastery is known for its temples, mainly the Maitrayee Buddha and Lamokhang Temple. In the afternoon, you may head back to the hotel or Leh Market to enjoy lunch (at your own expense). Satiated, head for sightseeing to the picturesque Shanti Stupa, a symbol of purity and peace. From here, you could see the best panoramic views of Leh from its large windswept courtyard. After enjoying a day packed with sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

On this day, after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and make your way to the airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
