We meet our guide at the Reykjavik hotel at 8:45 am. With the guide, we drive north through the tunnel to Hvalfj?rdur to the small village of Borgarnes, and then to the Skagafj?rdur fjord.
Skagafj?rdur fjord is known for being one of the main Icelandic horse houses, which is the only county in Iceland that has more horses than people. Continue on the highlands plateau of Xnadalsheidi until Akureyri, the capital of northern Iceland. Overnight stay in Akureyri.
Today we will drive through Lake Mivatan, on the way we will find Goafos Falls, where we will spend some time. Lake Mvatn is a shallow eutrophic lake in a dramatic landscape, dominated by volcanic landforms, such as the pseudocrater at Skutustadir and the lava column of Dimuborgir.
The area around the lake attracts you as it is a geothermal area of ??high activity, where all your senses are active. You stop here at pits and steamy holes of bubbling sulfur mud. After this, we will go to Dettifoss waterfall, which is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe.
After a stop on this mighty force of nature, we travel to the highlands of Modrudalsorfi, until our final stop of the day at the village of Egilsstair.

Today is a very important day than other days, today we will travel to very beautiful eastern fjords, which is no less than a paradise. Where we have a wonderful experience of natural beauty.
It is the least populated region of Iceland other than the highlands, with only 3% of the total population living in the farms and small fishing villages of the area.
During this journey, we make our way through the rough mountains and endless sea, which offers breathtaking views of the waterfalls.
When we come here under hard rocks, we find small rivers flowing into narrow fjords that open to the North Atlantic. Overnight stay in the fishing village of hofn.
Glacier Lagoon Jokulsarlon is close to H?fn. It showcases great icebergs of abstract shapes that break off the main glacier and float in the lagoon, floating out to sea while some break further down and scatter along Diamond Beach.
The bus trip continues to National Park Skaftafell which is a beautiful, green oasis at the root of the massive glacier Vatnaj?kull.
The glacier is crowned by Hvannadalshnj?kur which is the highest peak of Iceland. Continuing past the lava fields of Eldhraun, we observe the black glacial deposits at M?rdalssandur. Next coming up will be the area of V?k with its black sand beaches.
The landscape is shaped by the massive volcanoes of Katla and Eyjafjallajokull. And last on todays? agenda, we visit the two breathtaking waterfalls of Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss. Overnight stay at Hotel Selfoss.
Today we will start our journey from the majestic Gullfoss, which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. After that our next stop will be for the geothermal area around Geysir.
Here we experience the active geyser Strokkur, which erupts a towering column of boiling hot water every five minutes. In fact, it is a very attractive event, which attracts all the tourists.
