Welcome to Iceland

Borgarfjorour
Akureyri

We meet our guide at the Reykjavik hotel at 8:45 am. With the guide, we drive north through the tunnel to Hvalfj?rdur to the small village of Borgarnes, and then to the Skagafj?rdur fjord.

Skagafj?rdur fjord is known for being one of the main Icelandic horse houses, which is the only county in Iceland that has more horses than people. Continue on the highlands plateau of Xnadalsheidi until Akureyri, the capital of northern Iceland. Overnight stay in Akureyri.

Lake Myvatn
Egilsstaðir

Today we will drive through Lake Mivatan, on the way we will find Goafos Falls, where we will spend some time. Lake Mvatn is a shallow eutrophic lake in a dramatic landscape, dominated by volcanic landforms, such as the pseudocrater at Skutustadir and the lava column of Dimuborgir.

The area around the lake attracts you as it is a geothermal area of ??high activity, where all your senses are active. You stop here at pits and steamy holes of bubbling sulfur mud. After this, we will go to Dettifoss waterfall, which is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe.

After a stop on this mighty force of nature, we travel to the highlands of Modrudalsorfi, until our final stop of the day at the village of Egilsstair.

4

East Fjords
Hofn

Today is a very important day than other days, today we will travel to very beautiful eastern fjords, which is no less than a paradise. Where we have a wonderful experience of natural beauty.

It is the least populated region of Iceland other than the highlands, with only 3% of the total population living in the farms and small fishing villages of the area.

During this journey, we make our way through the rough mountains and endless sea, which offers breathtaking views of the waterfalls.

When we come here under hard rocks, we find small rivers flowing into narrow fjords that open to the North Atlantic. Overnight stay in the fishing village of hofn.

Southeast Iceland
Selfoss

Glacier Lagoon Jokulsarlon is close to H?fn. It showcases great icebergs of abstract shapes that break off the main glacier and float in the lagoon, floating out to sea while some break further down and scatter along Diamond Beach.

The bus trip continues to National Park Skaftafell which is a beautiful, green oasis at the root of the massive glacier Vatnaj?kull.

The glacier is crowned by Hvannadalshnj?kur which is the highest peak of Iceland. Continuing past the lava fields of Eldhraun, we observe the black glacial deposits at M?rdalssandur. Next coming up will be the area of V?k with its black sand beaches.

The landscape is shaped by the massive volcanoes of Katla and Eyjafjallajokull. And last on todays? agenda, we visit the two breathtaking waterfalls of Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss. Overnight stay at Hotel Selfoss.

6

Golden Circle
reykjavik

Today we will start our journey from the majestic Gullfoss, which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. After that our next stop will be for the geothermal area around Geysir.

Here we experience the active geyser Strokkur, which erupts a towering column of boiling hot water every five minutes. In fact, it is a very attractive event, which attracts all the tourists.

The National Park of vellir and continues up to the Rift Valley, where we can see the edges of the tectonic plates, as well as the site where the oldest parliament still standing, was founded by Viking settlers in 930AD. From vellir we drive to Reykjavik.

Is there any age limit to go to Golden Circle?
Iceland Golden Circle is completely family-friendly, you can take a trip to Golden Circle with your kids and elders alike. However, your child must be at least 6 years old to visit here.

How many days is enough to visit Iceland?

Can you go underwater in the Blue Lagoon?
You can't dive under the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is designed for relaxation. Swimming underwater is not allowed here.

Cancellation Policy
The package price will be deducted as per the following conditions strictly. No refund will be entertained without receiving a cancellation request effective from the date of receipt of the letter. 

Notice less than 60-46 days:  25% cost will be deducted
Notice less than 45-31 days:  50% cost will be deducted
Notice less than  30 days:    No Refund

Note: No refund will be given to people who are unable to complete the trip or abandon it due to any reason.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The digital copy of the Indemnity form duly filled, signed and emailed to the company along with the booking amount. 
  • It will be deemed that the booking & payment policy is accepted by the clients while making bookings with the first deposit amount. 
  • If the client is forced to cancel the booking prior to departure, the cancellation policy will be followed.
  • In case of any delay beyond our control, the client will have to bear extra cost for the extra days as per the option is chosen on per day basis.
  • Please note and be well informed that there will be no refund of money after the package commences and if one cannot complete the activity or gets sick enroute. 
  • The cost is for the entire package and there would be no refunds in case any part of the package is not availed.

COMPANY LIABILITY

  1. It is in the nature of a holiday of this kind to be flexible. The day-to-day agenda and ultimate goal of the tour are taken as an aim and not as a contractual obligation. We shall not be responsible for the delays or alterations in the program or expenses incurred due to conflict, international or internal flight delay or cancellations, strikes, sickness, weather, war, vehicle problems, political closures, and disputes.
  2. The booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize the potential risks and hazards that can be involved in the holidays of this kind. The organizer along with our leaders/guides and anyone else working in association with us cannot be held responsible for any death, accident or mishap that may occur in connection with any part of, or services connected with the holiday. 
  3. Before the guests come on a holiday, they must be covered by insurance, which has to include the cost of helicopter rescue, evacuation and cost of repatriation if they become too ill to continue. It is recommended that travel insurance should cover adventure activities undertaken. We can help you in case required
  4. The Company would not be liable to pay any kind of compensation arising because of any mishap, sickness, accident, etc.
