Overview

Greenland Photography Tours

A truly breathtaking experience begins here!
Our Greenland photo tours are carefully designed by our local Inuit guides and our professional photographer. With our passion and knowledge about Greenland, we will bring you the most authentic experiences. Our teammates will share with you all we know about Greenland!

We have been running legendary Greenland photo tours for years, visiting the vast Arctic ice sheet and places with magnificent landscapes, enormous icebergs, glistening glaciers, majestic peaks, remote settlements, and amazing Arctic fauna - whales, seals, Arctic hares, musk oxen, and polar bears - as well as the most spectacular natural wonder: the Northern Lights.

We specialize in small group photography with the best guest-to-photographer ratio to ensure the best experiences for our guests. Our trips are aimed at everyone with a passion for exploring Greenland with like-minded individuals on a comfortable boat cruise.

Our destination for this photography tour is Disko Bay in West Greenland which is home to Ilulissat Glacier, one of the most productive glaciers in Greenland. The calm and nutritious waters near the famous Ilulissat Icefjord attract a wealth of wildlife. There are plentiful humpback whales during the summer months.

Under the midnight sun, it?s a great opportunity for photographers to snap excellent photos of icebergs in various shapes with reflections of soft and dramatic rays.

During our journey, we will visit several Greenland towns and settlements, namely Qasigiannguit, Aasiaat, Qeqertarsuaq, Qullissat, Uummannaq, and Oqaatsut.

The trip is led by our veteran expedition team. Our local expedition leader and the captain has extensive knowledge of the area. Our guides are professional photographers who have years of experience shooting incredible photos in the Disko Bay area.

Much of our photography activities are taken place at dusk when the midnight sun offers the best lighting condition for photography. More than often, we start our photography sessions late in the evening and continue through the night. When the sun hangs low on the horizon, the lighting condition is more saturated, with deep icy blues and fiery red colors.

This tour is suitable for everyone. No photography experiences are required. Our photographer will be your lecturer in the field to make sure you can shoot the best photos of the kind. And one thing is for sure, we?ll take you to the best locations and help you to create a catalog of inspiring photographs you'll be proud of.

So, what are you waiting for?
