Depart for the airport for a chartered flight to Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check into your hotel. Enjoy a game drive at night, giving you the chance to spot nocturnal animals under the light of the moon. The area is home to
a vast species of game elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dogs, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, red lechwe, impala, honey badgers, hippos and crocodile, to name a few.
Sit in a mokro (dugout canoe) and traverse in the Delta waters to view aquatic game. From the safety of a motor boat you can see crocodiles basking in the sun and pods of hippo wallowing in the lagoon. In the fishing season you can go out in the boat and try your hand at fishing with spinners ? typically you may catch pike, barbel and bream. Explore smaller flora and fauna on a bush walk before returning back to your accommodation.
Depart early in the morning for the launch site of the only area which offers hot air ballooning. Have a chance to spot nocturnal animals retreating back early in the morning from the air. Enjoy an aerial view of the entire wildlife throughout the day.
