The North cape 307-metre-high cliff (1,007 ft) is a large flat plateau that offers the midnight sun and great views of the Barents Sea. North Cape Hall visitor centre is a must-visit built in 1988 on the plateau.
The Midnight Sun - Watch 76 days of midnight sun between May and July! Sounds unbelievable but yes it’s true. The sun never goes down! And as you keep on going further north, you get more nights of midnight sun. During these summer months, experience up to 24 hours of sunlight above the Arctic Circle, which means more time to enjoy the sights and make new discoveries. Summer months offer Midnight Sun experience above the Arctic Circle which showcases bright nights and pastel-coloured skies with the sky retaining a golden, lavender-blue colour. When is the midnight sun?

On the journey with Havila Voyages, you will pass the Arctic Circle on the stretch between Nesna and Ørnes.
The Magical Northern Lights - hold a great fascination for one and all, simply surrendering to the enchanting and stunning colourful fireworks in the dark night. There are a lot of mythical explanations that they represent the Viking god Odin's female warriors riding wildly across the sky.
There are few places in the world better for seeing the Northern Lights than northern Norway. Our planet has a Northern Lights halo that stretches like a shimmering band across the autumn to winter sailings of the Havila Voyages, looking like a sky dance. It is more commonly seen in autumn and early spring.
